But not "all" 709. You have to forget 709 throughput because ACES works in its own "standardized" workspace.

"Color bars" lose their relevance except you may use them again to refer to your completed output, rendered with a 709 ODT. But they are not likely to survive linearly across a primary transform entering the grade workflow. Experiment... you could try rendering a QT of bars and then adding them to the timeline - change the IDT to "none..." But I doubt it.
