Footage gets pixelized as soon as the import

PostSun Aug 06, 2017 8:38 am

Hey guys,

My A7s footage looks perfect if I zoom while I play it in quicktime but as soon as it is played in Resolve, if I zoom, I can see small pixels. The output gets pixelized as well.

I should not this happen with no optimized media, no proxy mode, no color correction, nothing. Just by playing it in Resolve. Any idea? I am using 14b6. Thanks.

I assume you are in correct resolution and not trying to dramatically zoom.
Didn't notice this in these type of files before.

can you upload screen captures?

Only thing I can think of is to try different settings in the Image Scaling tab of settings.

Which Resolve sizing parameter are you changing?

What screen are you looking at to judge? SDI monitor or the viewer in the color page? If it's the viewer within Resolve, it'll be much more pixelated vs a SDI reference monitor.
