That's been happening quite a bit l8ly...especially to threads that mention cameras other than BMC. I expect this one to go "poof" at any moment.

Nope and according to the l8est email from Omega, I have slipped from #7 to #15. I have started sleeping with my C100 though...it is helping.

Let's see if they answer my "WTH???" email tomorrow. My saga could be nearing its end here. The C100 rocks!

I find the KineRaw Mini as Second or Action Camera no bad....

The fact that the camera doesn't do another codec is a MASSIVE con for this product IMO. A modular S35 2k RAW camera for 3k is awesome, but for me personally, I can't afford a RAW workflow for everything I do. There are times for raw, and sometimes for a compressed codec, and the majority for me don't require RAW.

I dunno about everyone else, but the 422 ProRES HQ is what got me hyped about the BMCC, the RAW was just a cherry on top.

Just to explain -- We delete or move posts that exist solely to promote a non-Blackmagic product. (Discussions about how to use third party products with Blackmagic products are typically OK, but we generally don't allow pure promotional or sales posts from any third party.)

If BMD had just been able to ship BMCs in a timely manner, I doubt there would be any talk at all of alternatives. Much better communication with customers might help as well.
