Fall Creators Update Timeline Performance Regression

PostSat Oct 28, 2017 2:47 pm

Hi,

Fall Creators Update has broken a lot of software on my PC, mostly performance regressions, so it's really hard to tell if it's Resolve's fault or Windows' fault. However, after my Windows Updated to FCU, dragging timeline in the Edit tab using middle mouse button is no longer smooth, but quite laggy and running at poor framerate. It feels as if I was running Resolve on Intel integrated graphics, not GTX1080Ti I currently own.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't noticed any difference in performance after 1703 was installed.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I'm experiencing no difference in performance after the Fall Creators Update here. DaVinci Resolve Studio is as fast and responsive as it ever was on my system listed below.
Asus ZenBook Pro Duo
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
15.6” OLED 4K (3840 x 2160) 16:9 Touch
Intel® Core™ i9-9980HK
32GB 2666MHz DDR4
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 6GB GDDR6
