Fairlight playback level

PostWed Feb 21, 2018 9:58 am

Why is the playback level in the Fairlight page greater than in the edit page?

Which one should be used to set to reference level?

There isn't a difference on either installation here, both Edit and Fairlight pages have identical playback reproduction.

They should match.

How are you intending to set the reference (I assume monitoring) level?

Thanks but you're slightly disqualified as you use a MAC where everything always works :)

Are you sure you haven't hit the "dim" button by mistake?

I had that on one of the 14.1 (I think it was) , - I don't have the issue on 14.3.
Which version are you on? if not 14.3 , try upgrading and see what happens

I’m on Mac and have audibly different sound levels. I also only have left speaker playback on edit page but both speakers pay back in fairlight page. :(

I'm afraid Mitch your post doesn't help as we don't know what version or OS you are on.
