Please follow the way Premiere allows you to keyframe any parameters using an effect editor

We allow keyframe adjustments in our curve editor below the clip in the timeline so it’s in context to the clip.

I have to agree!
A proper keyframe editor for every parameter, including OpenFX is a must. :!:
In the timeline you can only see the position and splines of clip attributes, but not of OpenFX.
Currently, there is no way to see where you placed your OpenFX keyframes or what their splines look like.
