How to make a square video?

I want to make a square video. Is it possible? I have these square sized photos that make a stop motion-video. When I try to deliver the video, it makes black frames around the video. Please help

in project settings > timeline resolution > custom and choose the size x-y u want, and in delivery page choose the same resolution.

I have tried this today, in project settings I created a 1080x1080 video and when it's finished, even though I save it as 1080x1080 it comes out looking like a rectangular video with the square portion 1080x1080 inside?

How do I get a real 1080x1080 video?

I use square videos because they are more effective in Facebook advertising....

The forum won't let me post a URL but if you google "HOW TO: Instagram Vertical Video | MAX SIZE | Davinci Resolve 12.5 & 14 [TaylorCutFilms]" you will find a video that was immensely helpful to me. (It is for Instagram but the ideas still apply.)

Basically, after changing timeline resolution, you have to manually zoom in for each clip (or make a compound clip).

Or better - Project settings -> Image Scaling -> Input Scaling -> Scale full frame with crop.
