run on intel hd4000 gpu?

just wondering whether i can use my old laptop for rough cutting hd material:

i7/3610qm - 8gb - ssd's - intel hd4000 (on cpu)

It runs decently in HD on my son's MacMini with a 5K Iris and from my own experience I know that it won't run on 3K Intel graphics. But the 4K series? Hmmm. Why don't you just try?

Acording to this link has HD Graphics 4000 on Core i7-3xxxQM OpenCL ver 1.2

OpenCL 1.2 is minimum version for Resolve. Why don't you just try as Uli suggest.

And if your experience is disappointing, try version 12.5.
While missing a whole lot of features, it seems to be less demanding on hardware than later versions.
