Resolve 15 Beta Slow Playback of Images

This has actually been happening since the first beta. Videos in my timeline play completely smoothly, even often in 4K resolution. However, JPEG images do not play at my timeline speed at all, even before adding any motion to them. The frame rate seems to stutter in the 20s, and not lock onto 29.97. This especially happens when it switches from one picture to another. It takes quite a few frames to recover.

I can attach logs and exact version numbers if necessary.

For reference, I'm running:
Windows 10 (latest update as of today)
Ryzen 7 1700X CPU @ 3.80GHz
GTX 1060 6Gb
16Gb RAM

If it’s still slow with beta 5 please PM a link to the Resolve project and the source pngs

Which computation method do you use?
CUDA or OpenCL ?

It is still happening with beta 5. How to I send you a link to my resolve project? Do I need to export it as some sort of file?

I am using CUDA by the way.
