while searching for file format, which supports 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 and can by used by the free version of resolve on linux, to make some further tests on resolves color subsampling issues, i stumbled over an even more critical bug:
if you have an AVI file with
LJPG payload (here a
downloadable example) in a folder and you open this directory in the media page, resolve on linux will immediately crash (here is the
crashreport)!

it's in fact a very rare kind of AVI files (although this kind of lossless compression is commonly used in [Cinema]DNG and has some rather useful capabilities) and i don't care, if it isn't readable/supported in resolve, nevertheless it shouldn't crash the application -- even less, when you just browse a folder!
btw. does anybody know any suitable file format of acceptable image quality, which supports 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 accepted by resolve for linux?
