How to animate subtitle cropping?

I want to animate a subtitle in such a way that it opens from left to right. Unfortunately there is no function in the subtitle inspector that can be used to animate crop. Does somebody has any idea?

I think you'll need to use "titles" for that one, which can be animated with the position controls in the Inspector.
