Resolve 15.1 MinGW Runtime Assertion

PostMon Sep 24, 2018 5:39 pm

Attempting to install Resolve Studio 15.1.0.025, 15.0.0088, 15.0.0046

After the welcome tour and resolution selection I receive a MinGW Runtime Assertion as displayed in attached image. Further attempts to start the application after this point result in a running task with no UI and no wait chain.

Found an old post for a previous version -

Delete/rename or move igdrclneo64.dll

After moving this file and igdrclneo32.dll to a backup folder, I rebooted my machine and Resolve 15.1 studio fired right up.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

so I had to register to say thank you because this helped me solve that very annoying problem of Resolve 15 not starting.

I did not straight on delete these two files, but after a quick google search I understood they have something to do with Intel Graphic: ig...
I already had uninstalled Intel Graphics from the add/remove program but these ig... files were still there.
So I went on to use DDU to again uninstall Intel Graphics and the magic happened: Resolved started immediately (and after the DDU uninstall these two files are now gone - and maybe others)

Thanks again!!

had the same problem with Resolve 15.2, after installing AMD RX580 graphics-card.

uninstalling the intel graphics driver with DDU solved the problem.

Thanks sooooooo much guys!! After days and days of searching, this finally got 15.2 to open. I couldn't find those dll files to delete or move, but uninstalling the intel graphics driver with DDU did the trick. I haven't tested the program, but at least it opens now. I will update here if I encounter future issues.

Thanks again!
