On a side note.. speaking of ordering.. I have been on the fence about which speed booster to get. The MetaBones is the "best", Vitrox supposedly is comparable, but I saw someone post about the Aputure DEC LensRegain, did some watching, and wow..that thing is impressive. It is only .75 boosted, 1 stop regain still, but it has a wireless remote to control focus and iris. In particular it looked very cool where you can set two points and shift between those two slow/fast. And the kicker is that it was $400, but is on sale for $150 on their site. So it was less than the Vitrox and it comes with a nice case, wireless control, etc. So I am taking a chance. Several videos show it on gh5, gh4, older BMPCC, so I am sure it will work on BM4KPCC.
I think I understand that the unit itself talks to the lenses, not the camera, so I suspect there could be some compatibility issues with some lenses.. not sure. It is EF to MFT btw. Saw a lot of demos with the Sigma 18-35 which I think is the lens I will most likely buy first.
K.. didnt want to hijack the thread as much as share what I hope is a fantastic purchase for the price since so many people in this thread and a few others are talking about boosters as well. Hope it turns out worth the savings and others find it useful.
