Agree with this, and this is where you have ot get a higher end GPU.
It doens't matter if you have 128GB VRAM, if you're bottlenecking at bandwidth. The higher end cards often have 1.5-2xx the memory bandwidth of the lower-end cards.
And frankly, from experience... A 1050 Ti is practically unusable in this NLE for 4K. It will work in others, but it will be too slow to be tolerable in Resolve.
I wouldn't get anything less than a 1070... Wait for the 2060, IMHO. It should be slightly better than a 1070 Ti, for a much lower price (unless prices start inflating, again).
