Button / Font size of Davinci Resolve

PostSat Mar 23, 2019 10:03 am

Hey there,
I have bought the bmpcc4k and installed Davinci. I have a windows 10 with a 27" 4k monitor (resolution also 4k).
I feel, all the buttons etc. are too big, for example in the color grading window, the actual video is way too small. I don't want to always toggle the settings or scroll in. Can I somehow change it? Is it normal? (see my screenshot).

Greetings
Ben

I'm not aware of any user controls for this.

27" is good for 1440 resolution, but too small for 2160. I recommend at least 32".
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I had the same issue and found a simple fix that works for me.

On Windows 10 you can now reset the scale properties for individual programs by drilling down into the "properties" of the .exe file that launches Davinci Resolve.

This is quick, fully reversible and not at all complicated.

There's a 3 minute video that explains things here

BTW, this also works for other non-compliant programs like Adobe Premiere
