BM may have only gone through less than half of the total backorders for EF cameras. So yeah, I think there will be a longer delay for MFT BMCC.

I guess if they wanted to delay shipping until late 2013 or 2014, to cover up the fact they are still having problems with full production rate for the sensor, that would be an excuse to use. Start the whole beta round testing again etc. However I believe most rather want their camera now and only the vocal minority want the "auto" lens features and further delays.
Realistically I don't see the MFT hitting UK shores until 2014 anyway. So resigned to that fact.
I do believe though the BMC4K will be in much larger supply in the UK and Europe where the main supply problems for the BMCC are. So could be a substitute with all its advantages, but I believe it won't have that "film cinema" look.
All the jumping around by the same small group of people in this thread, I believe won't make an affect over BM's worldwide strategy; BM's *bottom line* (i.e. profit) is probably very healthy just from supplying EF backorders, so no motivation to change it.
Would like to be proven wrong on my points of course.
