I've love for Clip Markers to show up in Fusion. Makes sync so much easier.

Are clip markers inside of Resolve itself scriptable/exportable in some way?

Yes.
The API supports adding and removing markers from MediaPoolItems and TimelineItems.

Well then it's just a matter of accessing these markers, stripping their info to frame numbers and copy/pasting them into Fusion in a relevant way. Shouldn't be too difficult - if you know what you're doing.

No problem getting the markers info and frame number with the API.
What would you suggest adding on the fusion side?
Thinking of making this kind of script.

That would be great. In that case I'd suggest joining the We Suck Less Fusion forum at www.steakunderwater.com. That site is more tailored for Fusion specific development of tools, scripts and macros. You'll be able to find some great assistance over there in getting this script done, without the thread getting lost in Resolve related topics, like it would over here.

Yes I know WSL.
Been active there from time to time.
Thought maybe you have some idea from the top of your head.

Perhaps I start a thread there.

I am not much of a scripter, so I don't have any practical ideas from the top of my head.
I'd imagine a script that could be run from the Resolve side of things that says in pseudo code:

Go through the timeline
Make a list with [frame #] and [name of the marker] [comment inside the comment box]
copy that list to memory
switch to the fusion page
add a Text + tool inside of the Fusion page
create keyframes at [frame#] and make the text at that frame [name of the marker] [comment inside the comment box]
Now you have a tool in Fusion that visually (you can see the keyframes) and 'verbally' (you can see the text) gives you an overview of where the markers in the Resolve timeline are.

That's my top of my head idea

Interesting idea using text+ as a native fusion marker.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Having markers shared between the editor and Fusion would make it much easier to synch graphics to narration or dialogue.
