DaVinci Resolve Studio 16.1 public beta 1 -min OSX version ?

Almost got a brain infarct when i read the minimum OSX system requirements which are now Mojave .
Very bad for all the people including me with big Nvidia cards investments if true, but i just installed and all working fine and smooth as ever on High Sierra without a single hickup. Including the new full screen feature.
So not sure if its a typo. Specialy as the minimum requirements also mention a proper Nvidia driver . Duhhhh .Which nvidia driver as there is none !!!!!!
Maybe BM will deliver in the future Resolve with an included Nvidia driver

If it is not a type please indicate which exact feature is affected that now requires Mojave that was not available in High Sierra ?
Still love you guys but this is not cool BM, not cool .....

I was wondering about that too. I notice that the release version of 16.0 also says minimum OS is Mojave. But the last beta (IIRC) said High Sierra.

Lets hope someone at BM just tripped over the wrong keys on the keyboard in his/her enthousiasme over the new release.....

It appears that 16.1 runs on High Sierra.

Install at your own risk for now, but it seems like everything is working.

That seems likely. But which part? The Mojave part, or the Nvidia part.

I guess my employer needs to buy me a new windows machine
