A solution for attaching an EVF/rod on top?

PostThu May 23, 2013 9:20 pm

Hello,

I'm considering adding an EVF on my BMCC rig. I'm wondering what is the accessory for attaching a standard rod on top of the camera, for attaching the EVF like so: http://static.benshire.com.au/images/fe ... z2_evf.png

Sorry if I'm not expressing this crearly, English is not my first language. Anyway, I'm wondering what other parts besides an EVF I'd need for attaching the EVF on my rig (two parallel standard rods) or on top of the camera itself.

Here's the rig where I'd like to attach an EVF: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yamicreative/8789591569/

Thanks.

Cheers

Berkey System make a very nice top cheeseplate system for the BMCC, including a standard rail block/rod clamp that allows you to top-mount a matte box, follow focus, etc. See:

Other manufacturers make similar systems, too.

Or, "do it yourself":
