I just tried importing a sample BRAW clip and it made Premiere hang every time I tried to open it in the source monitor. It's a 4K clip from an Ursa Mini, the wedding sample from the Blackmagic BRAW page.
I have a Mini Monitor running output to an HP Dreamcolor; had just updated the BM Video drivers for that to the latest version. It's not the 4K model though, so I tried disabling playback on that but it didn't help. I was able to get the footage to load into the source monitor, but then the problem seemed to be accessing the BRAW controls in the Master Effects tab; clicking that would cause it to hang again.
After three Force Quits I was able to get Premiere to stop hanging while working with that BRAW clip. Turned the BM Video Playback back on and all is functioning. The only thing I did different after the last Force Quit was mess around in the sequence settings and turn a bunch of setting on and then back off again (Like Max Render Quality and Linear Color).
I know that there are issues with 1.5 that other users have seen, and I'm sure a new version will be out soon. Just wanted to see if anyone else was seeing this issue on their machine and make sure Blackmagic was aware.
Premiere 13.1.4
Mojave 10.14.6
Mac Pro 2013
