Anyone with access to BMCuser?

PostWed Feb 20, 2019 8:05 pm

I've been building my (original) BMPCC rig and am about halfway through. While researching I found a handful of forum posts with images of people's rigs which I found hugely useful but it seems the main thread is this one over at BMCuser.
Unfortunately, you need to be a fully registered user in order to see the actual images, and it seems that BMCuser is dead in terms of accepting new users. I've been trying to get in touch with the mods but after I posted in Reddit, I found out that the last new user was accepted in 2017..!

I recognise some people's names that are active both here and there - does anyone know of a way to scrape the images from that thread, or otherwise get access to them? It would be incredibly useful in order to finish my rig!
Any help would be massively appreciated.

I do have access. I am currently saving you all 26 pages of the thread via the Vivaldi browser as websites. Will post an download link for you.

Here you go:

https://we.tl/t-oDWY2VtcMx

Link is valid for 7 days. I can re-upload if necessary.

I have saved the website by using the Vivaldi browser (successor to Opera browser) - so it might be possible that the saved sites are only functional with that browser: get it here BTW - it is a great browser made in EU.

Anyway - for every site there is a subfolder containing all JPGs too - so you can just dive into those for the images of the rigs.

This is perfect! The pages work and all the images are there too. This will help me hugely in finishing the build - thank you!

Well I’ll be darned! I’m back in BMCuser with probably 20,000 unread messages! A conservative estimate.

Old thread but I have the same question as OP, also looking for the same reason and the same OG BMPCC Rig thread. The forum seams to be active with new posts daily and quite a few readers but still no admin activity, has anybody gotten their accounts activated recently or should I abandon all hope?

Yes, Rick in the previous post got his account back up with Admin. I also know of several new users that are finally registered, but it took about a month to happen.
Cheers
