1080p60 capture not working on Linux for DeckLink Duo 2

PostThu Nov 21, 2019 10:26 pm

Hello,

I have been having issues trying to capture 1080p60 video on my DeckiLink Duo 2. I have a TPG attached to one of the inputs, and all supported resolution/framerate combinations work except for 1080p60. No errors are being displayed, only a black screen is displayed, however I am able to see that audio is being recognized and captured. This behavior is identical for all the binary samples under Linux as well as the provided Media Express. I am using Desktop Video 11.4.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked the cables and made sure they are compliant with the HDMI standards (not a cheap cable?)

Have you tried opening the stream capture using VLC as it tends to work with anything?

Have you double checked some of the software settings to make sure a setting is not set incorrectly?
The impossible takes a while longer and tends to go over budget.
