Don't do that. Here's some good practice to follow.
1. Always copy the
full media card to an internal working drive for editing.
2. Don't move, rename or delete anything from the card you just copied. (You can move the
entire card, but always keep it intact.)
3. Name your folders according to the card it came from, and mirror that for the bin structure in Resolve. For example:
Project ABC
___Camera A
______Card 1
___Camera B
______Card 1
______Card 2
etc.
4. Organize your media using a file manager
before you import it into a project.
5. Use metadata and Smart Bins to further organize the media within the project. (Resolve's capabilities here are extensive and
very helpful.)
