ATEM Mini Keyer

I'm using an ATEM Mini with two camera inputs and an upstream keyer. Every time I change inputs, the upstream keyer turns off. Is there something that I have setup incorrectly? I have my fill source as input 4 and two cameras as input 1 and 2. Thank you!

this appears to be by design if you use the buttons on the atem mini.
if you need to do more complicated things, you'll have to use the control software

Upstream keyer Next Transistion Key in turned on. So when you cut or fade to the next source. In the transition it also Turns on or off the Keyer.

In the software you can see this. The Key is ON AIR. ( Red button) And KEY1 yellow button underneath is active too.

Turn off the Yellow button and your problem is gone.

Hello Steve. In the ATEM Setup Utility you can change the behavior of this for both the Keyer and the DVE controls. I hope this helps.
