Apreture Control on Pocket Camera

PostThu Jun 20, 2013 4:12 pm

Hi, Just wanted to ask whether the Pocket CC is capable of controlling the lens aperture? I am mainly talking about Pana/Oly lenses that are designed for such mount.

Thanks in advance

Yes.

Aperture control, and support for lens IS, with fully digital-type MFT lenses such as those by Panasonic & Olympus. "Momentary" (one press) auto-aperture, not continuos auto-aperture or auto-ISO. No auto-focus support. Unknown if lens power-zoom will be supported or not.

So just to put it right, i can manually adjust Aperture, the same way Shutter Angle is adjusted in the camera? If that's the case i am pre-ordering right now.

Like the original BMCC-EF, you press the FF/REW buttons on the BMPCC to adjust the (fully digital MFT lens) aperture "manually".

Just remember you need to focus manually on all BMD cameras.

Actually peter you press the up or down arrow buttons on the back, but the end result is the same.
