Clicking node changes the final image

PostSun Apr 05, 2020 11:50 am

After a while in my color grading process, something weird happens: when I click a node, the final image changes and seems to show only that particular node's settings. Clicking the node nest to it changes the image to only THAT nodes settings and so on... Is this something you have heard of before...? Some simple setting I am missing...? I am grading primarily BMPCC4K footage in BRAW and Prores... I have AMD Radeon VII, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 64 GB RAM, Decklink Mini, so I should be good in the hardware department...

I'm not aware of any method to Solo a node, only to Disable them. You sure that's not what's happening?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Not in front of Resolve so prob off the mark but you haven't left the mask highlight on (Shift H)?

Oh my God, that't it... The mask highlight.... I am so stressed to get a project finished, I didn't realize they were on... Thank You... :)

For the people clicking shift+H and not seeing any change, make sure you are not in the magic mask menu. This was also creates this problem where you click on a node and the final image output changes.
