I have read a few reviews, short term the connection is good (up to 2 hrs), but the IOS app or the signal can drop and requires some fiddling to get it back up, on longer shoots. While using a iPhone or iPad as the monitor seems good, the image quality is not as good a monitor, as the Hollyland Mars is with a real camera monitor connected. Also the CineEye does not have HDMI loop through, which I need to keep a monitor on the camera, the Mars 300 does. I am considering going the more expensive hollyland Mars hdmi transmitter 300.
John, I agree the Teradek is the best setup, Small HD has integrated monitors for this system, but is more than I need right now. If budget was no issue, or I was doing a big shoot with focus puller, Director, etc all needing a monitor, then the Teradek is the way to go.
