You need to reach a certain threshold of posts before you're out of moderation and can post links. I don't remember off-hand how many you need, though.

An elaborate motion graphics video that should be great for beginners and goes over many different topics

I hope you can understand me through that awful accent and nervous shivering of my voice, in case you don't, there is also a text version here:

If you have any notes on this, I would love to hear them and improve the next time!

Quick Edit: The finished composition is also available on the website

I started doing tutorials for Fusion for the Spanish speaking community. There´s already many and way better artists doing that for the English speaking one while there´s a severe lack in my own language...

How to properly monitor an ACES project in the Fusion tab:

Different ways for masking an image and also how to combine that with a 2d tracker in roto jobs

Using the 3d camera tracker to export a scene to a 3d app (in this tut I´m using Cinema4d)

Using the planar tracker to paint out objects in a scene

A tutorial on the Deltakeyer (also tips on Color matching and creating a lightwrap):

And the latest, using the 3d camera tracker as an alternative stabilization method in Davinci.

5 quick Fusion tips

PostFri Aug 28, 2020 11:24 am

Hi, here's a new video I did for Action VFX.

The focus isn't on their products this time, but on small and useful tips when working with Fusion.
You may already know them or you may not. It's about 5 minutes of your time and it might save you more in the long run. 8-)

Hello. I have created a quick walk through to integrate a steam engine on the tracks at a small station. Tracking was in SynthEyes, engine modeling and rigging was in Maya (2016) and 3D compositing and 3D particle work was in Fusion. There was also a car crossing over the tracks in the backplate that needed to be removed, using Mocha Pro plug-in within Fusion.

Enjoy!

Thank you all for sharing so much helpful information, I have already found a few great sources here!

As a beginner, I watched a lot of videos and cources on Youtube too, one of my favs is Casey Faris, his chanell is quite popular and maybe someone has already mentioned it here before. It really helped me with many issues I had while studying the program.
