Issue Burning a DVD

PostTue May 19, 2020 4:27 pm

I am having a "decoding error" when trying to use RealPlayer DVD burner. I first have an issue rendering the movie I made because it says "clip xyz could not be decoded correctly. Please check if the clip is still available." The clip has not been moved or renamed. I even tried bypassing that by going to "Preferences" and unchecking "Stop renders when a frame or clip cannot be processed."

Once I put my edited movie in RealPlayer to burn a DVD movie, I get this error:

I tried rendering .mov and .mp4, video is under 2hrs, and made sure the file size is about 4.2G to make sure it will all fit on one DVD. I am a Windows 10 user. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Only MPEG-2 is allowed for DVD.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

You know, I just found another forum post that said I will need to render twice in order to burn to DVD. A bummer for such an amazing software...

Please consider allowing a format for your users to only need to render once. Thank you for your help!

It'll not happen. Never ever. DVD is economically dead.
