About DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K

Hi,

I'm working on building a new PC configuration for color grading. I would like to integrate a DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K. I wanted to be sure about one thing.
As most graphic card has HDMI output, why shoud I buy a Declink card ?
Is it because HDMI from GC are not color-managed output ?

Yes, that's why.

I just got my decklink mini monitor 4K in today and discovered that a bug that has been there since 2014 is still there. Putting a lut into the external monitor affects the edit page and other pages monitoring.

I spent the whole day trying all kinds of tricks and tips and searching old posts and youtube but no luck. This is a very old bug. I'm at a loss on this one.

Lee Jackson, concerning your problem which is quite worrying, have you tried contacting Blackmagic support ?
I use an Eizo CG248-4K which has integrated color profiles and integrated probe, that allow you to create a customised profile. What is your setup ? Do you think I'll have the same issue ?
