Fusion Render Black Pixel issue

PostTue Jun 30, 2020 3:09 am

Hey so I have a image I finally really like in fusion... but on render I'm getting these really weird black holes and pixels that arn't in the clean rendered image inside of fusion. Any ideas! Been looking around for this but no solutions found.

I wonder if it has something to do with pixel values that are out of range and not getting clamped properly. Try adding a ChangeDepth node to convert to int8 prior to export. That will ensure that Fusion is handling the bit depth change, and that the clipping happens correctly. Also, make sure you don't have any unusual alpha values in those areas. If there are pixels with 0 alpha, and something is premultiplying for some reason prior to export, that could also account for it.
