Pocket Cinema Camera 4K consumes 22W max. (high frame rates, screen at 100% and recording to a media), so 50Wh battery will power it slightly more than 2 hours. At lower recording settings and display brightness it may work up to 3 hours.
You can power an external monitor and the BMPCC4k at the same time, but
do it on your own risk. It is suggested here
https://www.newsshooter.com/2020/02/15/ ... i-outputs/ to turn on camera like this:
1. Connect power to camera
2. Connect power to monitor
3. Turn on camera and monitor ? (HDMI allow hot plugging, but i still not sure about this)
4. Connect HDMI cable to monitor and camera.
and turn off like this:
1. Disconnect HDMI cable from monitor or camera
2. Turn off monitor
3. Turn off camera
My 18650 Battery Enclosure has ON/OFF switch connected internally to positive (+) DC cable wire. If you operate it as described in FAQ, it should formally provide protection from "Ground Looped" connection damages because it will always connect (-) DC power cable pin before (+) DC power cable pin.
