Digital Juice

Not sure if questions are allowed about other software... But I was wondering if anyone knows or uses Digital Juice and if its compatible with Resolve?

I run digital juice on my edit workstation with Resolve. I am no aware of any issues.

If the question is related to media from digital juice, that is a matter of downloading compatible media.

Thank you for answering...most appreciated!
So, if I get DJ, and want to use it on Resolve...do I need to use another source to make it compatible?

Also, What is "The Juicer"? Do I need it and does it cost anything?

Digital Juice has a software tool that installs on your computer that facilitates access and download for their libraries of media.

I think though you can also use a browser in a similar way.

You wouldn’t typically need a third party app for compatibility. Just be sure the media you are accessing is compatible with Resolve.

This information is available on their site.

It’s a subscription service, so there is a cost.

I never even knew they were still around. I am pretty sure I have their entire DVD library packed away somewhere from 15 years ago.

They sold a bunch of lifetime packages several years ago. I guess they are honoring those contracts. I am pretty sure they are still adding to the library as well. I go there a couple times a year looking for some bits and pieces.

There is a lot of agnostic content there along with software specific templates.

But getting back to Resolve. I am very happy to be using Resolve today. BMD has moved me to use it and FCPX side by side. I never thought I would budge from FCPX for my private work, but BRaw and Color have made it happen.

I have been an Avid MC, Premiere, and FCP user, and many others (*EDIT, Media100) over the last 25 years, and at this time Resolve is my favorite when using BRaw.

They are still as active as ever. They have a pretty good selection and lifetime purchase right now. They also update their library regularly, from what they say. Was just wondering if anyone has used it with Resolve, and what their thoughts were :-) :D
