XPS 17 9700 with Davinci Resolve

Are anyone using the new XPS 17 9700 RTX 2060 with Davinci Resolve and Fusion? Does it perform well? I am planning on buying a new laptop for video editing and I am considering the XPS 17 or Macbook Pro 16. The Macbook Pro has 8gb gpu options, would that be a significant improvement over the 6gb rtx 2060?

Have you considered a Desktop for Resolve?

Normally do I recommend people on the road to look for a medium to large sized Labtop, so it can get rid of the generated heat.

And you can't do the same work on a 8 core Laptop as on a 12 or 16 core Desktop, but for people on the road is the best laptops for Resolve, a powerfull Gamer Laptop with extra Ram and may be an extra MVMe SSD.

I need something portable so it has to be a laptop.

Maybe there area other good options out there as well, but I am considering these two because they have a large and a good quality display and at the same time they dont seem to bulky.
