Hello people,
I need your help with the Ultrastudio mini recorder. I can't seem to get a full hd output from my Ultrastudio mini recorder. I've connected my Canon G7x mark iii (which puts out 1920 & 4k clean hdmi) via micro hdmi to hdmi into the mini recorder. Then via thunderbolt into my Macbook Pro. After that I download and open up Desktop Video Setup 11.6. I select hdmi output, no conversion and click save. I also checked the security, but nothing is blocked in my macbook settings.
1. First of all the video input details don't show up in DVS. Is this normal? (see attachment for printscreen)
But okey, guess it must be working. I then open up OBS or Streamlabs and add the Blackmagic source. Most of the times I get a black screen as I also don't know what it puts out, but i'm guessing just the normal 1080p25 I feed it (as there is no conversion). Selecting this format gives me a black screen. The only time I get an image is when i select 625p50... Not what i need.
2. Why does it only put out 625p? Please help me out on this one.
I also tested my cameras signal on my monitor which resulted in great clean 1080 and 4k video.
I also feeded my xbox feed into the Mini Recorder which resulted in a black screen, so no video.
I try to open Blackmagic Media Express which gives me a pop up that 'Blackmagic hardware could not be found in your system'
3. This seems that my Macbook doesn't recognize the Recorder, while it will (occasionally) send out the 625p signal (see attachment for printscreen)
I use a Macbook Pro with macOS Catalina 10.15.3
Could anyone please inform me on what to do?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Anne
