Mac only accepts 24p from UltraStudio Mini Recorder

PostFri Jul 31, 2020 8:15 pm

I bought the UltraStudio Mini Recorder to get my Canon 5D MkIV into my MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt. I found out that I had to turn my Canon to 24p in order to get my MacBook Pro to see my video signal. Unfortunately the UltraStudio does not have any scaling features via the Black Magic software.

Has anyone ever had any success capturing 1080p 60fps? I am not sure if the capture issue comes from Apple, Black Magic or Canon...???

This is driving me nuts, I have been searching the internet and trying different options for months!
