Request to make more fast workflow for wedding editors..

PostSun Sep 13, 2020 5:37 pm

it would be great if resolve can make wedding video editing workflow very easy and very fast by just adding these features if possible...

1. synchronization feature for multiple clips from multiple camera according to time and date...not onle based on time code or audio....

2.zooming in timeline of source monitor also like main timeline, because sometimes while using multicam timeline its to hard to make in and out point...in source monitor to select specific selection or in and out point in source monitor timeline.....

3.give more feature for selection of clips in timeline like...invert selection, intersect selection...for selected clips...something like that..

4. mark selection can be used for more purpose like apply of effects or changes or mark only those clips is in marked area........or like wise select only yellow color clips which are in marked area...that will be great......

Why not, I wouldn’t be surprised if wedding photographers outnumber colorists in Resolve user base.
I do stuff.

Best practice is to post one idea per thread with a very brief description of the idea in the thread's title.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

I'd like to suggest that wedding couples (and their families) slow down, enjoy a long honeymoon, and give the videographer more time to do their job.
