ATEM Mini no sound in OBS

Just seting up ATEM mini on an IMAC : sound works perfectly in the ATEM software but stubbornly refses to appear in the OBS window.

Any clues?

Same issue. I got around it by adding the ATEM Mini as an audio device as well. Mac version of OBS doesn't seem to bring them in synced for some reason. Hope thats resolved soon, I've seen it posted elsewhere as well.

I've tried for hours with OBS and also Wirecast Pro, each picks up the video perfectly - but no audio on either software. Very frustrating. I've read manuals, watched youtube videos, read forums, but no fix.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

I'm also having this problem. I'm getting audio signal in the ATEM software, but I'm unable to get anything within OBS. I'm on a Mac and I've attempted to add an Audio Input Capture device for the ATEM Mini. Video is captured perfectly.

I'm now having the same issue on a new Mac mini. Works fine on my MB Pro 16", but I get no audio in OBS on the Mac mini. Both are running same OS (10.15.5), same version of OBS, same profile configuration within OBS...

ATEM software shows meters activity for audio, Mac OS Sound input shows meters activity when ATEM is set as input, but OBS shows nothing. Tried adding it as an audio capture device too, but still nothing.

I unplug ATEM mini from the Mac Mini and back into my laptop, and OBS there works fine. So it is only OBS on that machine that doesn't work.

Audio works fine in other apps, by the way; for example did a Zoom meeting with ATEM as the webcam source, and audio works fine. Only in OBS does it not.

Others who said they figured it out; can you share your solution please?

For those having problems getting audio from the ATEM Mini into OBS try this:
System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Microphone
Check the box for OBS.app

This fixed the problem for me.

r_clev: Thank you so much for posting your solution. I had tried for hours to get OSB to detect the sound from my ATEM Mini Pro in OSB on my Mac Mini. Your solution to go to "System Preferences -> Security & Privacy ->Privacy -> Microphone" solved the problem. All I had to do was check the box next to OSB and OSB immediately accepted the audio signal from the ATEM Mini Pro.

Click the gear icon in the audio mixer -> Preferences -> Choose Blackmagic Design

Since this weekend I'm not able to get the audio from my atem Mini Pro into OBS or vMix... It worked before so I think it must be one of the many Windows updates who f**k things up...

Checked as many setting I could think of, but still no sound... Who knows where to look????

... upgraded to Win11, everything is working again... must have been one of the updates for Windows I recently installed...
