Could someone with Blackmagic Design please let me know what type of power connector the BMCC requires? I've got a nice external 12v battery solution by using NP25 12v-4.0Ah batteries (yup.. good ole hershey bars) and box donated from my old JVC dv500 and just need to adapt it for the BMCC by attaching the proper connector... I am not doing the conversion myself, but having a qualified camera tech do it because I know I'll screw it up.. :)

Thanks!

We have several solutions coming on to the market very soon. Tests show the first product the range can more than double the runtime of the camera, yet it is a compact, onboard item which won't impact on the camera's mobility.

Keep an eye on our website!

Great solution for "on-set" shot, but isnt good for "run and gun" shot.

Adorama has a nice bundle offer going on with the Switronix battery and charger when one purchases a BMCC. Bundle price is $3095... so you're basically paying $96 for a $300 battery solution.

Of course, this is only helpful for people just ordering a camera now... ;)

Anyone remember or still have the 12v Dewalt battery adapter to xlr four pin? I still have one plus some 12v belts I would love to use to power the camera. Is anyone making a 12v four-pin xlr to BMCC input? Also, anyone making a viewfinder hood/loupe like the zfinder or hoodman for outdoor and handheld shots?
