Burn-In Tool / dailies workflow

PostThu Nov 19, 2020 5:53 pm

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for any way to burn-in a “different” custom text for “different” process inside the render queue...

Grateful for any help / advice.

Cheers!

Please elaborate.

Burn in is global per project so to have alternative burn in on the same set of media you have to duplicate the project and change the burn in.

No, you can save burn in presets, and call them up as part of your delivery page. Should be pretty straight forward.

thanks Misha, thanks Glenn,

for both solutions I have to wait for the first delivery, and then send the second process with the new burn in (instead of getting a good night's sleep;-)

It would be great if the development team will consider this in the new release ...

You can have up to 3 Custom Text fields, so...does that not serve?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

thanks for the answer, but the 3 custom text fields will be "burn in" all jobs you have in the render queue.

An example.
I want to make more versions of a job.... version1, v2, v3...

If I write in the first job, custom text 1: "v1"

second job, custom text 2: "v2"

It doesn't work... because It will burn the last text you wrote in all jobs you have in the render queue.

It's a very simple thing, but very stupid too...

it would be enough to burn as custom text the "timeline name"....
