What's the BMD Desktop Video Setup, the application for installing the Resolve Studio software? Have you been able to install other software?
1. Have you got the latest drives for the mobo? Video card? Everything else? Yes, I'm pretty sure you already know this - but - at this point it doesn't hurt to double check (and honestly, I don't know what else to do but confirm drivers, etc.
2. Have you confirmed the RAM is 100% compatible? I've just learned of a website called PC Parts Picker
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ where you can input your specific mobo, case, RAM, video card, everything and it will advise you of compatibility issues. Designed to sell you stuff (they collect their affiliate fee from Amazon so you don't see their commission) but nevertheless, a useful tool. I've confirmed my bits and pieces and discovered one of the SSD drives supposedly won't fit. I'll know for sure once I begin to assemble the bits but forewarned is forearmed, e.g. I won't be taken by surprise now.
3. Have you tried installing the free version of Resolve?
4. The operating system boots and it's up to date, right? Damn, I don't know where else to go with this and suspect BMD is going to say the mobo isn't on their approved list. Darn, darn, darn, darn, darn, I sure hope this doesn't happen with me!
And on my end, I wasn't expecting 3090 until Dec 1-3 but curiosity drove me to check the tracking number and as it turns out, it arrived Wednesday (last week) but it doesn't matter that the video card was here because the 3700X isn't due until tomorrow from Newegg.
