Pretty much any Mac from the last 5yrs can edit ProRes HQ in Final Cut Pro and in more recent years in FCPX.
ProRes was developed as an editing format that was easy on the processor. As long as you have reasonably fast drives it works well on most systems.
Thanks Roberts for that advice, I believe that the current Macbook pros also cannot handle resolve, so would you recommend going for a cheaper macbook if I prefer to work only on Prores HQ ?
