Why do you not connect with Portkeys and ask or suggest your request?

They must have a reason as to why they went with this design.
Another thought, if the loupe is being held by screws only, how complicated would it be to unscrew and replace the screws with velcro?
There is an adjustable diopter so the added distance could be compensated.
