What to do if IP address is unknown

Got a 1 m/e atem rack switcher with unknown IP address. Is there a way to find out what the address is? I have never had this happen. someone changed it and never told anyone. Can this be "ping"ed or found out thru USB?

Plug it in via USB and open ATEM Setup. It'll be able to be changed from there.

If it's buried in a rack and you can't get to the USB-port, use something like Angry IP Scanner and scan the whole subnet.

When I attach USB and open setup software I get "No ATEM found" message. Are there different versions of setup software? Do I need a legacy version or different version? I am using 8.3
