Multiple HDMI to SDI converters in a rack?

Recently purchased an ATEM 2M/E 4K

As it has only 1 HDMI input, also purchased several HDMI to SDI micro converters. (using multiple laptops to feed zoom and graphics overlays)

I am searching for a product that can handle 4-8 HDMI to SDI conversions, ideally rack mountable, and even more ideally, has a scaler. IE, how to get multiple HDMI to SDI converters in a nice package for a traveling broadcast rig

Currently, plan is to rack mount the micro converters, and use some kind power management for all the wall warts.

1) does such a product exist (multiple individual converters but in 1 unit)
2) any suggestion on managing wall warts on a rack mount setup?
3) will the micro converters run off a multi port usb charger, and remain stable? like this

Hello, since Micro HDMI to SDI Covnerters consumes up to 2 Watt (see specification), the Anker with 60W should be more than enough. But would you rather get this one?

This has 10 ports so you can use with the single "Power supply" for 8 converters. But don't forget: Avoid single point failure (if Anker fails, nothing works) so buy 2. Just my 2 cents.

Racking up 8 micro converters is more of a hack, not the ideal situation. I was hoping for a more robust and stable converter for 6+ multiple feeds.

May I ask, what's bad about the micro converters?

Nothing "bad" per say. They work well enough.
For my setup, I need 8 of them to fit in a roadcase for a portable broadcast setup.
Space is limited, each of them requires a bulky wall wart power supply. I'm able to build a custom rack unit, or modify a shelf to accommodate, but I have the money for a more compact solution if one exists. I haven't found anything yet.

You don't need a power supply per unit - unless you want the redundancy - we regularly power them off multiple outlet USB supplies where we have several in a rack. I've got a small peli case with 4 mounted on the side used as a buffer box, converters are powered off a home-router "UPS" - a 12V supplied lipo battery with USB power out and instant changeover from mains to battery supply. Have run it for several hours off just the battery.

You can also run multiple of the microconverters off a single power supply - again it depends on your need for redundancy. If you've got all your stuff hooked up to one power supply and it goes down then you lose everything, but with a bit of planning you can reduce the number of power supplies vs the risk of losing one. I often share monitoring output converters off a single power supply, but make sure that critical signals run off their own one (and always making sure there's an extra DC jack available in case you need to swap in a hurry!).

Great idea, and best of all I have one of those batteries unused on the shelf.
