Big Sur compatibility with Desktop Video devices lists

PostSat Jan 30, 2021 1:20 am

Could not find any model of the Atem Mini switcher in this list, what does this mean ?
is there something i have overseen ?
Does this mean all Atem Mini switcher devices work fine in any Big Sur setup, and don't need added support ?
Does this mean that the Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt will not work on a M1 MacBook Pro with OS Big Sur,
or it does work, without added support ? i find that the definition in the "lists" can be set to both understandings.Or it could be my English is not sufficient to understand this, (I'm Dutch from the Netherlands)
Intensity Shuttle, ATEM Mini, Video Assist 5"(mini USB), Hyperdeck ShuttleHD,Analog to SDI mini-converter, software: Davinci Resolve 15 on Sierra, Resolve 18 on Catalina. (Using Apple OS 32 & 64 bit on different MacBook Pro's

the ATEM mini are not a desktop video device. and work well with big sur.

if a desktop video model is not in the list for M1 series,
then the device will not work with.
even now or later!

Thankyou for the answer, now i understand from this, that it's not possible with Big Sur and a M1 CPU,
to capture (from a VCR) a PAL or NTSC tape to 576p or 480p resolution from a component video output, with any BMD device, like it is possible with an Intensity Shuttle on an "old" MAC setup ?

I have a perfect setup : Panasonic DMR-ES35V > component-video > Intensity Shuttle > MacBookPro (Intel)
with this setup i can transfer my VHS recordings without the use of any Time Base Corrector, i guess i should keep this setup at hand, when i upgrade/update to new harware and OS...
