Computer doesnt read HDD

PostSun Jan 31, 2021 11:59 pm

hello, my name is Miguel, I have just recorded a short film with the camera Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6k and I used a HDD as storage, when I connect it to the camara I can see all the footage but the problem is that when I conect the HDD to the computer it cant read it. The HDD is brand new (srd0nf1) so I think the problem is on the format of the videos that make the HDD imposible to read to the computer. I have a Lenovo computer (Windows) and when I conect the HDD it makes the little sound of conection but anything else happen.
If anyone know a any app or anything to make the computer be able to read this type of format it would be a lot of help, I dont want to lose my footage. Thankyou.

The Pocket accepted that drive for use?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

When you say HDD do you actually mean an SSD as that is what is required? Can you see the drive in File Explorer? What is the format of the drive as the tech specs of the 6k say it should be ExFat for Windows?

You probably format ssd in hfs+ and windows cannot read it. Buy hfs+ driver from paragons and you can see easely. You can try 15 day trial and verify if it’s correct way to read it
