3 x output Dolbyvision Decklink4kextreme hdmi 2.0 options m

Hello
Any advice as to my options for hdr monitoring.

I want to send the Resolve signal to:
Client monitor: Lg 65oledE8 and trigger Dolby vision or at least hdr. Hdmi should do this.

Reference monitor: Asus 32ucx and trigger DV/HDR but only one hdmi 4k output available

AV amp hdmi and trigger Atmos

What options exist to split the 4k hdmi output?
Seems like this is the only real option, unless...
Does all the metadata go down the HDSDI as well?
Can you pass through this through the teranex mini sdi to hdmi 4k, or must you buy the double price hdr versions?
Could i use the optical port? If so is there a thread to guide me through that?

The down Res output feeds a reference oled and ultrascope.
At the moment I'm trying to see if the atmos will pass through the down Res sdi to teranex to hdmi to the amp.
Then i need another box to convert the full sdi to hdmi and keep the hdr metadata. Or split the hdmi and force EDID with hdfury devices.
If only consumer devices had pass through hdmi output.

HDR metadata can travel over SDI ( almost sure there is a spec for it now), but I'm not sure of BM does it. Another things is that you need a converter which later takes it and passes to HDMI.

In your case- good HDMI splitter with independent outputs flagging etc. Look at HDFury boxes, eg.

You also have cheaper splitters and can combine them with HDFURy if needed.
AJA has SDI to HDMI converters which can inject HDR as well, but it's not going to solve your problem (it's good, but pricey as well).
Good splitter is all what you need. I have no experience with it, but HDFury boxes look good- a lot of features for good price and web controller. If I were to work a lot with HDR (with monitoring) one them would be my first buy for sure.

Thank you Andrew. Just to be sure I got this right, the splitter will retain the "enable HDR metadata over HDMI" option of Resolve to trigger PQ HDR in the client monitor right?

Not only it can retain it but you can overwrite it as you wish if needed. It can also scale both outputs independently.

Were you ever able to test out this setup?
I got the same monitors sitting here.

I just ordered a Teranex 8K HDR that is getting its signal through my BM Ultra Studio 4K mini which then feeds my LG OLED and Asus 32UCX.

The solution mentioned here would be much more cost effective though so I'm curious if it worked well
