Greetings everyone, I just registered hoping for an advice.
We recently upgraded our field recorder to Blackmagic Design Video Assist HDMI/6G-SDI Recorder. However, a problem ocured with capturing audio via with HDMI interface. SGI works just fine, the settings in menu are correctly adjusted to avoid XLR inputs and it should simple as it is... but.. NO AUDIO
The camera is Panasonic LUMIX GH5 4K.
Even worse, I would easily consider HDMI port faulty but we tested the same scheme with Blackmagic micro converter (biDirectional) included between the camera and Assist and suddenly EVERYTHING works. Now I'm kinda lost. The device is upgraded to the latest firmware btw.
