does blackmagic hate australia

PostThu Feb 18, 2021 3:33 pm

I see this with some game companies, but that's because of a government deal saying that online can't undercut shopfronts. So why is there approximate 17%-18% hate on Australia bonus? (sometimes higher, or lower) I know there's discrepancies with conversions, and some companies that you convert with take a large chunk, but I know for a fact that it's not this much for businesses

self hating is a thing. I also didn't realise they were originally Australian, which makes me now hate them even more, "hey we're making a thing, and we'll give everywhere else in the world a discount."

This is true for many products manufactured around the world. When I lived in S. Korea, televisions, SSDs,
media players etc. by companies like LG and Samsung were cheaper in the USA. Often, products available
elsewhere weren’t even being sold in Korea. But that did not make me hate those companies. Hate gnaws away at you from the inside. It is self-destructive. It is ugly. Don’t be a hater.
